THE ROLE:

Acceleration Partners seeks an experienced Affiliate Publisher Development Manager who is responsible for supporting and growing our clients by developing and maintaining relationships with key publishers in order to drive revenue.  The position will report to a member of the company’s Extended Leadership Team and offers salary and benefits that are competitive with growth-stage businesses.

LOCATION:

The Affiliate Publisher Development Manager is a work from home position, as are all positions at Acceleration Partners (a structure central to our culture and a key differentiator). Ideally, the right candidate will be based in the metro area of one of our hub cities, Boston, New York, Philadelphia, Chicago, Denver, or Southern California. Travel is required, for conferences and internal meetings, etc.
 

TOP 5 JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Research high revenue potential publishers, including known publishers as well as those that are new to the affiliate marketing space, perform outreach according to opportunity size and find new opportunities based on the needs of our clients. Manage all inbound lead generation publisher requests, vetting all opportunities weekly, and communicating high potential opportunities to the appropriate client managers.
  2. Present and sell new publisher opportunities to internal client management teams and provide updates on existing opportunities, motivating client managers to maximize opportunities with their clients. Join client calls in order to “sell” the opportunity and meet monthly publisher recruitment and revenue goals. Track all opportunities via the CRM and submit monthly publisher communication and conversion reports in order to show progress toward KPI’s.
  3. Strategize with publishers to come up with out of the box ideas in order to activate publishers and maximize revenue.
  4. Support our Sales team by providing new, existing, and out of the box publisher recommendations and insights in order to win new business.
  5. Coordinate and participate in key affiliate networking events including ASW, Leads Con, ASE, CJU, Rakuten DealMaker, etc.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE:

By 6 months… the Affiliate Publisher Development Manager has developed strong relationships with the account management team as well as top publishers. They have developed or refined methodology to successfully identify and create publisher opportunities and sell them internally and to clients. They have a firm grasp on the recruitment and reporting process along with what is needed for success. They are consistently vetting all inbound publisher opportunities as well as meeting monthly publisher revenue goals.

 

By 1 year… the Affiliate Publisher Development Manager has created reporting and recruitment process efficiencies and best practices. They are regularly identifying new publisher opportunities, with known publishers as well as those that are new to the affiliate marketing space, that genuinely move the needle. They are working with publishers and the team to develop new to activate publishers and generate revenue in order to exceed yearly goals.

  • 2-5 years of experience cultivating relationships with publishers in a similar role within a network, agency, or in-house position
  • Strong track record of building relationships with publishers and retailers in several verticals
  • Extensive knowledge of the affiliate marketing landscape; lead generation a plus
  • Proven excellence in exceeding revenue goals
  • Strong written and verbal communication, presentation and negotiation skills
  • Knowledge of Affiliate Networks (Impact Radius, ShareASale, Commission Junction, etc.) a plus

Acceleration Partners seeks an experienced Digital Marketing Manager who wants to leverage their skills as an expert affiliate marketer. Via our Performance Partnerships™ framework, we are looking for smart, savvy digital marketers who want to work with clients to create and manage strategic affiliate marketing programs. In this role, you will participate an intense three month training program which will prepare you to successfully develop and manage strategic affiliate programs. Once you are ready, you will autonomously lead client accounts and large projects in our affiliate marketing practice, serving as key client facing liaison. You will lead client engagements and be responsible for client service and communication, account strategy, execution, reporting and analysis, and developing new opportunities.

The ideal candidate for this role is a data-driven digital marketer with a strong passion for client service. You get satisfaction by providing remarkable results for your clients through innovation and strategic planning and hold yourself to a high bar for unsurpassed customer service. Clients are being serviced profitably, all deliverables are A caliber, and Net Promoter Scores remain consistent at 8+.

This person will be responsible for affiliate communications and general account maintenance, including recruitment, newsletters, and fraud checks.

The Role:

The Operations Assistant plays a critical role in supporting our growing client service operations. The Operations Assistant will be accountable for effective execution of core administrative processes to ensure that our client operations are managed consistently and at a high level. THE ROLE:
Major brands are looking to take complex performance marketing programs global, creating a significant opportunity for strategic leadership and innovative execution. As a result, Acceleration Partners (AP) is seeking a Global Account Manager, Affiliate Marketing based out of Singapore. The Global Account Manager will be focused on client delivery for one of our most high-profile clients, and will be a key part of Acceleration Partners’ growth in the APAC region.

The Role:

Over the last five years, we have made it our goal to become the largest independent affiliate agency in the U.S. We achieved that goal in 2016, and are now looking to apply our expertise, infrastructure, and relationships in other regions where there is not a significant strategic agency presence. We are seeking a Senior Affiliate Strategist to work cross-functionally to provide affiliate strategy and data modeling support.

YOUR TOP 5 JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Strategic Sales Support: Support VP of sales and other sales team members by providing strategic recommendations for prospective clients. Audit prospects’ affiliate accounts and identify key opportunities for program growth and improvement. Liase with account management teams to pull together publisher recommendations or other strategies to present to prospects. Serve as key point person for RFPs by gathering information from all relevant stakeholders and synthesizing into a cohesive presentation. Present affiliate strategy at sales pitches and meetings, via videoconference and in person.
  2. Affiliate Program Modeling: Generate data-driven affiliate program models in Excel that incorporate prospective client strategy, overall business growth trajectories and benchmark data. 
  3. Account Launch Recommendations: Provide account launch strategy for select accounts, incorporating affiliate program models and strategy conversations from the sales process. Work with Client Success Director and account teams to ensure a seamless transition from the sales cycle to the launch phase of a client account were strategies are fully incorporated into client launch planning and strategy decks.
  4. Strategic Client Recommendations: Work with account teams to perform deep dives on select client programs and provide strategic recommendations in support of client goals. Present strategies to clients via videoconference or in person as required.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE:

First Six Months:
Senior Affiliate Strategist is fully engaged with both Sales and Client Services stakeholders and is actively providing recommendations and models to meet departmental needs. Strategist is effectively presenting strategies to both prospects and existing clients and has consistently demonstrated excellent presentation skills. Strategist is providing support to Sales team that has facilitated increased bandwidth for VP of Sales to engage in prospect calls and other high-value activities. Launches in which Strategist is engaged have received average scores of at least 8/10 from clients when asked “How effectively has Acceleration Partners incorporated your concerns into its strategic planning for your affiliate program?” on client 100 day survey.

First Twelve Months:
Strategist is regularly providing high-value, proactive strategic recommendations to both Sales and Client Services teams. Strategist is playing a key role in the Sales organization and is able to navigate and address strategy-related objections successfully in 95% of prospect or existing client conversations. Strategist is completing 90% of RFP-related work. A majority of program recommendations that Strategist has presented have been successfully been implemented and have driven improved client results.
