Can you tell our readers why and when you’ve started LatestDeals & LatestFreeStuff?

LatestDeals.co.uk and LatestFreeStuff.co.uk are my lifelong passion projects. I love saving money, finding the best prices and trying free samples. I started these sites to create a community of like-minded individuals. I wake up, speak to brands to create really good offers, and share them with others to help them save money. It’s my dream, it helps people, and it’s sustainable!

In what way do you utilise affiliate marketing on your sites?

Affiliate marketing is the best way to create high value content that you’re personally interested in and to monetise it. I love helping people save money through freebies and deals, I dream about it all day and night. And so to be able to create content that I truly believe in and monetise it with affiliate partnerships is great. Otherwise you have to do click-bait stuff which I don’t believe in.

How does LatestDeals.co.uk differentiate itself from competitors in the affiliate space?

As a publisher, LatestDeals.co.uk offers a unique proposition: a highly engaged (75% female) audience who’s motive for being on the site is to purchase deals.

Products and services that offer truly good value for money. Our audience is 75% female and there’s a higher propensity towards home, garden, kids, health and beauty categories.

What are the key factors in determining which affiliate programme to join and what do you look for in an advertiser?

We ask one simple question: “Would I buy from this company?” If it’s an immediate yes, you’re in! If there’s hesitation, we’ll explore the reasons and work with the company to satisfy them. If it’s a no, then we will not put it forward to our members. We have an intense level of trust between us and our members.
