Acceleration Partners’ Robert Glazer Named a Top CEO in the US by Glassdoor for the Second Year in a Row

Acceleration Partners’ Robert Glazer Named a Top CEO in the US by Glassdoor for the Second Year in a Row

“If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more,
do more and become more, you are a leader.”

These words, spoken by John Quincy Adams, could not be more aligned with the way Acceleration Partners’ (AP) founder and CEO, Robert Glazer, inspires his team.

It is for this reason that we are thrilled to announce that Bob has been named to Glassdoor’s Top CEO of Small and Medium Companies in the US list for the second year in a row!

Since the company’s inception, Glazer has led the charge in AP’s aspiration to not only be a leader within the affiliate and partner marketing industry but to be an innovator when it comes to changing the work/life paradigm and building a healthy work environment that best suits the unique needs of its employees.

In order to achieve both of these goals, Acceleration Partners’ Core Values (own it, embrace relationships, excel and improve) are embodied and brought to life within every AP employee in both their personal and professional lives. And Bob Glazer is no exception.

As a driving force in the creation of these core values, Glazer truly understands what it means to fulfill them in his everyday life.

Own It

Glazer has worked tirelessly to create a culture of transparency and accountability, led first and foremost by the company’s executive team.

For many companies, topics such as company financials, submitted RFPs (request for proposals), and operational developments are viewed only by top leadership, leaving a majority of employees in the dark. At AP, we share all of that information.

When a company’s leadership is transparent, credible, respectful, and fair, it fosters a culture of trust. And Bob Glazer has led by example in regard to creating an open and honest work culture.

Embrace Relationships

The ability to connect with others and truly embrace the relationships around you is vital not only in business but in life.

Despite being a 100% remote workforce, Glazer understands the importance of face-to-face interactions to keep communications clear and relationships strong.

This is why he dedicates his time to creating opportunities for the AP team to embrace relationships with their coworkers through our annual all-company team building Summit, social “hub get-togethers” in each of our hub cities and numerous virtual communities in which the AP team can connect.

Excel and Improve

We cannot continue to grow and to learn if we are comfortable staying exactly where we are. That is why the desire for feedback is not only encouraged at Acceleration Partners, it is expected.

By offering employees multiple outlets for offering feedback on the company, the way its run and the leadership styles of the executive team, Glazer has fostered a culture that is not scared of feedback but fueled by it.

It is truly an honor to work with a leader who not only cares about the professional success of his employees but the personal success as well; a leader who is always pushing his team to reach new heights and push themselves farther than they knew they could go.

Congratulations to all the winners of this incredibly meaningful award!

About Glassdoor’s Employees’ Choice Awards for the Top CEOs in 2019

Glassdoor’s Highest Rated CEOs list is released annually as part of their Employees’ Choice Awards. This list is unique in that winners are determined based on feedback employees voluntarily and anonymously share in Glassdoor reviews. Among the 770,000 companies reviewed on Glassdoor, the average CEO approval rating is 69 percent.

CEO approval ratings are gathered through Glassdoor’s online company review survey, which collects current and former employee sentiment about job and company satisfaction, the work environment and the culture.

Employees are asked to rate a number of workplace factors like compensation and benefits as well as work-life balance and asked whether they approve, disapprove or are neutral about the job their CEO is doing.

In addition, employees are asked to describe some of the upsides and downsides of working for the company and provide any advice for senior management.
