Last week Boston SmartCEO honored the region’s top female business leaders at their inaugural 2016 Brava Awards and AP’s Director of Talent & Culture, Emily Tetto was among the winners. Brava award winners combine their irrepressible entrepreneurial spirit with a passion for giving back to the community, mentoring up-and-coming leaders and setting their companies on the path to tremendous growth. This year’s 40 CEO and executive winners collectively generate more than $598.73 billion in annual revenue and employ more than 3,700 individuals in Greater Boston.
“Brava winners possess the hallmark qualities of successful leaders — vision, passion, compassion, dedication, perseverance. Each winner in this inaugural class exhibits these qualities in all facets of her life, from running her business to tending to her family and donating time and resources to philanthropic initiatives,” says Jaime Nespor-Zawmon, president of SmartCEO. “We are honored to recognize a group of Boston women who are truly making a difference in the world.”
Emily says the leadership of Robert Glazer, AP’s Founder and Managing Director, inspires her. “Since working at Acceleration Partners, I have been pushed to think differently and forced out of my comfort zone to really grow as a leader myself,” she says.
More than 200 executives, friends and family attended the high-energy celebration to honor the 2016 Brava winners and their achievements. The event kicked off with high-energy networking, followed by a video-packed awards presentation that honored each winner for their business leadership, philanthropy and mentoring.
Congratulations to all the women in the Boston area who were recognized by SmartCEO as a Top Female Leader!
